This museum is really quite well done. The exhibits tell you stories from ancient to modern London, with some fun interactive bits. You can spend a full afternoon here. I learned things!

Good museum to learn the history of London. Very nice are the touchable objects and the special stuff for kids (if around). No special showing with admission fee - completely free of charge

The Museum of London, right next to the London wall, shows the history of London from prehistoric times to the present. Take one of the free tours - the tour guides are very good.

Modern part of the exhibition is truly awesome (for those who are not into a lot of archeology), and a Victorian walk is a miraculous time machine. Skip the ancient part and try some visible history
